College bowling is back for another year! It’s been a while since I last posted, and a lot has happened. I’ve already been to three tournaments with the Webber Warriors. We have a whole new team this year, but losing some seniors who were a big asset to our team has not affected us. We have some new faces as well as old and are more determined then ever this year.
Our first tournament was in Milwaukee, the girls finished 2nd and the boys 3rd. It was so exciting to go to the first tournament of the year with a new team, we had no idea what to expect. Yes, we practice together every day, but tournaments are different. Just flying together with the team, we already felt so close. We then had a tournament in Orlando, all of our Webber Warriors were able to play this event. The girls finished 3rd and the guys varsity finished 2nd, with JV finishing 1st and 2nd. It was great to see everyone take part and show how much love they have for the program. We recently just played in Atlanta in the second tier one of the season, honestly both the boys and the guys struggled but we learnt so much from it that we are only going get better. The girls placed 3rd and the boys 5th.Our next tournament is coming up in Mobile, AL. We will be there the 15/16th November.

I can’t believe that I am in my junior year already, before I know it Christmas will be here and I will only have 3 semesters left at Webber. I am definitely starting to realise how quick time flies and that you have to make the most out of your opportunities. I don’t want to graduate having regrets, wishing I could have done something. So it’s time to work hard and enjoy every second of what I am doing.
