While covering the US Open in North Brunswick New Jersey I had an opportunity to chat with 14 year-old Kameron Doyle of Brentwood Tennessee. Kameron an 8th grader, made headlines back in 2010 when he cashed at a PBA regional event, and at the US Open became the youngest bowler to cash, finishing in 61st place. Kameron talks about what he feels needs to be done to keep youth bowling strong, and what he hopes to accomplish. While covering the event Kameron drew attention from the New York Times, and during the cashers round on Friday had quite the following.
