This week we chat with the 2012 USBC Queens Champion Diandra Asbaty. Asbaty defeated Carolyn Dorin-Ballard, 244-227, to win her first career major title at the 2012 USBC Queens presented by Storm. Diandra talks about the week since winning the event, and why she used her performance in 2007 as motivation to win this year. We get into why Diandra feels a women’s World Series of Bowling would help the sport, and what can be done to showcase women’s bowling. Diandra talks about her ball choice for the show, and how the reps from Storm helped line her up with two unlikely ball choices. Finally we end with Diandra’s change from a five to a four step approach, and how Jason Belmonte was instrumental in helping her.
