In February, Tom Hess, of Urbandale, Iowa achieved a dream he’d had since he was a boy: he won his first PBA title at the 2011 Bayer United States Bowling Congress Masters at the National Bowling Stadium. We spoke with Tom at Bowl Expo about just how his life has changed since winning the USBC Masters. Hess talks about the challenges of balancing notoriety while trying to compete on the tour.
