Today I had a few minutes to chat with Scott Norton about his win Sunday, and the embrace he had with his husband after the victory. Scott shares why he came out back in 2011, and what he hopes to accomplish for gay athletes. Scott also talks about what defines him as a person, and ESPN and the PBA’s reaction to what transpired.

Why should Scott Norton be considered any different from other who have “come-out”. In recent years many others have “come-out”; i.e., politicians, entertainers, host of TV programs, etc. His accomplishment on the lanes should define him as a professional bowler.
