Vin Gerard…… From facebook and Twitter pages to the PBA Tour, Vin is causing a huge buzz in the bowling world. He has gone an offered a challenge to any PBA pro that he can beat them in a bowling match and wagered his hair in a 3-game scratch series against anyone on the PBA Tour. So who is “Vin Gerard” you may be asking, well Vince “Vin” Gerard Durling born February 4, 1986 and from 2005-2012 was a professional wrestler until he retired February 26 2012. Why would a pro wrestler start taking on the best in the PBA? Not sure if that question will ever be answered but there was a PBAmember that did step up to the challenge. Jason Belmonte fired back his answer via YouTube to Vin. Go check out the responses on YouTube.com. For those of you that want to follow on twitter its @vingerard, @JBelmo and @PBAtour. So many people asking why and does he even know how to bowl? We found an update on facebook from Vin to the fans of bowling.
“To my bowling fans, here’s some information that you’ve been dying to know I’m sure. Don’t judge anyone by what you assume. I want nothing more than to ruin everything your game (not sport) represents. I have bowled since I was 4. At 10, my average was 195 and I came close to being the youngest person in the world (thanks Guinness) to bowl a 300. Unlike you losers, I decided to stop wasting my time on such a pathetic game. Don’t think I can hang with your top bowler? Don’t think in aware of oil patterns, slants on lanes that can change the direction of your ball even by just a half cm? Think again. The end.”
With the summer coming to a close and the new bowling season right around the corner we will continue to follow the handicap match Vin vs. Jason and the PBA. Who knows where this challenge will end up? Jason has told Vin to shoe it up in Las Vegas during the WSOB IV…Will it happen well stay tuned to find out. Until next time get out there and throw the rock this weekend.

You have got to be kidding. Has the PBA and for that matter its players lost their minds, So we are to resort to using a little know Pro Wrestler and a “Challenge” , So we can further degrade the PBA as now the professional wrestling of the bowling world. Way to go BOC C, We already had a problem with people taking us as a serious sport ( warning sarcasm coming up ) I AM SURE THIS WILL HELP ! MAybe we can heve them smash tables on the lanes as well
