The economy took its toll on the 35th annual Willow
Creek Classic tournament.

The tournament, which concluded in May, had 45
fewer teams but still managed a prize purse of $
437,121, down only $453 from the previous year.

A total of 1,556 teams competed in the event that
pays
$20,000 to the winning team. Last year 1,601
teams competed.
